Recent leaks suggest a significant quality-of-life improvement for Arlecchino in Genshin Impact Version 5.4: a revised swap animation and a Bond of Life indicator. This popular Pyro DPS character, introduced during the Fontaine arc, will see these changes despite her already complex kit.

Arlecchino, one of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, has proven a fan favorite. While the current storyline focuses on Citlali, Natlan's Archon Mavuika, and other new additions, HoYoverse appears to be refining existing characters. A leak from Firefly News, shared on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit, highlights the upcoming changes.

The leaked information reveals a visual indicator appearing above Arlecchino's model after swapping. Though its exact function remains unconfirmed, it's widely speculated to display her Bond of Life (BoL) levels. This unique Fontaine mechanic, similar to Natlan's Nightsoul system, acts as a reverse shield, depleting the BoL bar instead of increasing HP upon healing.

This QoL update, while not boosting Arlecchino's damage directly, simplifies her usage, particularly during complex battles requiring simultaneous management of multiple targets and status effects. This isn't Arlecchino's first adjustment; her intricate kit has prompted several such changes, a rarity for Genshin Impact characters.

The timing of this improvement is noteworthy, coinciding with Arlecchino's scheduled appearance on a Version 5.3 Limited Character Banner, confirmed during the recent Special Program. Launching around January 22nd, this banner will feature Arlecchino alongside the Champion Duelist, Clorinde.
