Grumpyface Studios has officially launched Castle Doombad: Free to Slay on both iOS and Android, and as the title suggests, it's all about defending your castle filled with baddies against pesky heroes who threaten your version of peace. In a refreshing twist, you take on the role of the big baddie, because why should would-be heroes disrupt your nefarious plans?

In Castle Doombad, you step into the shoes of the evil Dr. Lord Evilstein, tasked with setting up traps across more than 70 campaign stages to keep your castle safe from invading knights in shining armor. Unlock over 30 traps to unleash on unsuspecting heroes and upgrade your equipment to ensure they never disturb your life of villainy again.

Every villain needs an evil lair, and in this game, you can decorate yours with cool cosmetics known as "spoils" - essentially evil artifacts and plenty of "misplaced" loot. If you're looking to mix things up, dive into the roguelite mode called “Dr. Lord Evilstein’s Roguevenge,” where you'll fend off heroes across randomly generated layouts as the ultimate criminal mastermind.
