Free Fire to debut new Winterlands: Aurora event to mark the festive season

Free Fire's Winterlands 2024 update brings the chill with new character Koda and frosty gameplay mechanics. This winter-themed event introduces exciting additions to enhance the battle royale experience.

Koda, a new character hailing from the arctic, possesses the Aurora Vision ability. This allows players to detect enemies hidden behind cover (excluding crouching or prone opponents) and pinpoint enemy locations during parachute deployment.

The standout feature is Frosty Tracks – ice-covered pathways enabling players to swiftly traverse the map while maintaining combat capabilities, including shooting, turning, and using throwables. Strategically placed Coin Machines along these tracks reward players with 100 FF coins. Frosty Tracks will be available in both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes.

Aurora Events further enhance the winter experience. Battle Royale features aurora-affected Coin Machines, while Clash Squad offers aurora-affected Supply Gadgets. Interacting with these special items grants team-wide buffs.
