Sony has unveiled an exciting lineup of games for the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers for January 2025. For those looking to maximize their gaming experience, the Premium tier is the way to go, as it encompasses all games from the Essential and Extra tiers, plus exclusive titles and additional perks.
All PlayStation Plus members have already enjoyed a selection of free games for January 2025, which includes Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. These titles are available until they're swapped out for February's offerings. Both Extra and Premium subscribers can dive into these games as well as the new additions coming to the regularly updated catalog.
On Tuesday, January 21, Sony will enhance the PS Plus Extra and Premium libraries with a diverse range of games. The PS Plus Extra tier will see the addition of ANNO: Mutationem, Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand, Citizen Sleeper, God of War Ragnarok, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, Orcs Must Die 3, Poker Club, Sayonara Wild Hearts, and SD Gundam Battle Alliance. Meanwhile, Premium subscribers will also gain access to Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings and Medievil 2, bringing the total to 11 new games for Premium members on January 21.
Among the new titles, God of War Ragnarok stands out as a major highlight. As one of the highest-rated PlayStation games ever, it promises to be a stellar addition to the PS Plus Extra library. Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name also offers an action-packed experience within the beloved Yakuza series.
For PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers, Citizen Sleeper is particularly noteworthy. This RPG, which received positive reviews upon its 2022 release, is perfectly timed to join the lineup just before its sequel launches on January 31.
