Adventure Time's Epic Return: Sequel Comic Arrives April 2025

Oni Press is bringing back the magic of Adventure Time with a new monthly comic book series, launching in April 2025 in collaboration with Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products.

Written by Nick Winn and illustrated by Winn and Derek Ballard, Adventure Time #1 picks up after the animated series finale. Finn and Jake's escapades in the Land of Ooo continue in the first story arc, titled "Best of Buds."

Winn expressed his excitement about the project, stating, "Adventure Time was a huge part of my childhood. It was hilarious and emotionally intelligent, something rare for shows back then. Working on this with Oni Press has been a joy and a challenge—creating something new while retaining the show's original energy and charm."

Series editor Megan Brown added, "We're thrilled to bring readers back to Ooo for new adventures with their favorite characters. The Land of Ooo has a rich comic book history, and we're excited to contribute with a creative team delivering a story full of friendship, heart, and exciting challenges for Finn and Jake."
