As we wave goodbye to August and the Young Avengers, *Marvel Snap* (Free) ushers in a new season that's sure to get your spider-senses tingling. It's the Amazing Spider-Season, and while Bonesaw might not be ready this time, the new cards and locations are bound to make you stick around!

This season introduces an exciting new card ability called "Activate," which lets you decide exactly when to trigger a card's effect. It's like an On Reveal ability but with more control, perfect for dodging effects that target On Reveal. The star of the Season Pass, Symbiote Spider-Man, showcases this new feature brilliantly. He's a 4-Cost 6-Power card that can absorb and copy the text of the lowest-cost card at his location, triggering any On Reveal abilities again. Pair him with Galactus, and the possibilities are endless! While he might be a prime candidate for a nerf, Symbiote Spider-Man is already proving to be a blast to play.

Let's dive into the rest of the new cards. Silver Sable, a 1-Cost 1-Power card, steals two power from the top card of your opponent's deck with her On Reveal ability. She's a solid choice on her own and even better when combined with specific locations and other cards. Madame Web, inspired by the hit film, brings an Ongoing ability that lets you move another card from her location once per turn, adding a strategic layer to your gameplay.

Next up, Arana, another 1-Cost 1-Power card with an Activate ability. When activated, she moves the next card you play to the right and boosts it by +2 Power, making her a must-have for move decks. Finally, we have Scarlet Spider (Ben Reilly version), a 4-Cost 5-Power card. His Activate ability creates an exact clone at another location, allowing you to multiply your power across the board.

The new locations are equally intriguing. The Brooklyn Bridge, a staple in Spider-Man lore, challenges you by not allowing consecutive card placements on it. It's all about timing and strategy here! Otto's Lab, inspired by Otto Octavius himself, pulls a card from your opponent's hand to the location when you play your next card there, adding an element of surprise to your strategy.

This season promises a web of thrilling possibilities with the new Activate ability and a lineup of fascinating cards. Our September deck guide will be up soon to help you navigate this spider-filled season. What are your thoughts on the Amazing Spider-Season? Which cards are you excited to play?
