NetEase Games unveiled their charming life simulation game, Floatopia, at Gamescom. Expected to launch on multiple platforms, including Android, sometime in 2025, Floatopia presents a whimsical world of floating islands and unique characters. The trailer depicts an idyllic setting where players can cultivate crops, fish in the clouds, and personalize their airborne island home.

The game's premise involves a world-ending event, but with a lighthearted twist. This post-apocalyptic world features fractured lands suspended in the sky and individuals possessing diverse, and sometimes unusual, superpowers. Players assume the role of Island Manager, engaging in activities reminiscent of titles like Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley.
