Updated on April 4, 2025: Added Stage 3 Arata.
The wait is over, and the mystery surrounding how to complete all three Arata stages in the Roblox game *GHOUL://RE* has been unraveled. Follow our comprehensive step-by-step guide on **how to get all Arata stages in *GHOUL://RE***, and elevate your gameplay with one of the most coveted armors in the anime universe.
After numerous trials, we've successfully navigated **all three Arata stages** in *GHOUL://RE*. While these stages don't require advanced gaming skills or extensive exploration, they do demand **extensive Reputation grinding**. We're talking about a lot of it!
To kick things off, you need to amass **25,000 Reputation** points and reach the top rank of **Special Investigator** within the C.C.G. organization. Head over to the **Commission of Counter Ghoul** (C.C.G. center) and locate **Damiro D. Mado**, the NPC with headphones on the second floor. He'll set you on the path to Arata Stage 1 by tasking you with collecting **10 one-eyed fragments** and **10 Kokuja fragments**.

The quickest way to acquire these fragments is by taking down bosses like **Eto and Tatara**, and then crafting them at a designated table. To check your current Reputation, speak with **Saiyo Natsuki**, the NPC in a black suit and tie. Once you've gathered **all 20 fragments**, transform them into **five one-eyed Kokuja fragments** at the crafting station. For tips on tackling bosses, refer to our *GHOUL://RE* Boss and raid guide to enhance your performance.

Return to **Damiro**, and he'll instruct you to speak with "him". This caused quite the confusion within the *GHOUL://RE* community, as the identity of "him" was unknown. It turns out "he" is none other than **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, who was hiding in plain sight. For more on NPC locations, check out our guide on all **NPC locations in *GHOUL://RE*** to ease your search.
For **Arata stages 2 and 3**, you'll need to switch to **permadeath** mode to obtain the legendary armor. We recommend teaming up with reliable allies, as solo missions can be particularly challenging.
Once you've accumulated **100,000 Reputation points**, head to the elevator in the C.C.G. building and make your way to **the Laboratory**. There, you'll find **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, the man with a scalpel, standing by the door. Hand over the five one-eyed Kokuja fragments along with your 100,000 Reputation, and you'll complete Stage two of acquiring the **Arata-Proto armor**.

There's been a lot of speculation about the required Reputation for Stage 2, with some claiming it's only 75,000 and others suggesting it's between 90,000 and 100,000. From our experience, to guarantee success, you'll need **100,000 Reputation points**.
Remember, you must play the second and third Arata Stages in *GHOUL://RE* on **PD servers only**. Failing to do so will result in a repeated response from the Black Reaper, and you **will not complete** Arata Stage 2, nor progress to Arata Stage 3.
The final Arata Stage involves "The Scalpel Guy", some fragments, and a substantial amount of cash. As with the second stage, you **must be in PD mode** to continue your quest for the epic armor.
Gather a single one-eyed Kakuja fragment and save up **500,000 Yen**. Return to **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair** in the C.C.G. building, pay him the money, and he'll teleport you to face **Kishou Arima boss**.

To defeat Kishou Arima, you'll need at least average gaming skills, involving a lot of jumping, dodging, blocking, and dealing high damage from above. Though challenging, with practice, even players with moderate skills can conquer this boss.
Be prepared for potential deaths, as each retry will cost you an **additional one-eyed Kakuja fragment** and **500,000 Yen**. Upon defeating Kishou Arima, you'll unlock Stage 3 Arata-Proto armor. But beware, while the armor offers significant buffs and protection, it also has a considerable drawback: it's quite harmful to your body, as detailed below.
**Arata-Proto Armor Buffs**
The Arata armor is incredibly powerful, but it **drains your hunger** at an alarming rate. You can't eat while wearing it across all stages, so you'll need to **remove Arata** to replenish your hunger levels.
However, the benefits are substantial. Firstly, **you can't be ragdolled** while wearing Arata, which is a significant advantage in all game scenarios.

Additionally, Arata provides an equipment buff, making your character **increasingly "tanky"**, capable of withstanding and dealing massive damage. If the armor depletes your hunger bar during combat, it will start consuming your **health bar**. Be cautious during boss fights, and consider removing it if it becomes too risky to maintain your health.
**Reputation Grinding**
The fastest way to accumulate the required Reputation is by **fighting bosses in PD mode**. Although risky, each boss defeated in PD mode grants **1,500 Reputation**, significantly more than the **500** you earn outside PD. Killing Ghouls, on the other hand, only yields **100 Reputation** points per kill, making them less efficient for grinding during Arata quests.
