Get ready, adventurers! Torchlight: Infinite is set to launch its thrilling Arcana season, titled SS7 Arcana: Embrace Your Destiny, on January 10th, 2025. During this weekend's livestream preview, the developers unveiled all the exciting details that await players in this new season.
The highlight of the Arcana season is the introduction of the Wheel of Destiny, a cosmic roulette wheel that dynamically reshapes the Netherrealm through tarot readings. Each spin of the wheel and card you draw will alter your gameplay experience. Encounter cards like The Sun, which bathes the battlefield in scorching energy, or The Hermit, summoning stealthy assassins to challenge you. The Chariot card will test your reflexes, and surviving its trials unlocks the Tarot Secret Path, adding a layer of mystery and strategy to your journey.
Another exciting feature is the new Destiny system for Pactspirits. Players can now enhance their talent nodes with Fates and Kismets. Fates provide straightforward boosts such as increased resistance, while Kismets introduce powerful, rare mechanics. For those looking for even more customization, Dual Kismets are available, offering unique combinations to tailor your gameplay.
Introducing Iris, the Vigilant Breeze, the new hero of the Arcana season. Iris elevates the Spirit Magi class to new heights, allowing players to channel her power for devastating elemental attacks or focus on making their Spirit Magi nearly indestructible with her life-restoring magic.
Joining Iris are two new additions to the Spirit Magi lineup: the Rock Magus, a whirlwind of physical destruction, and the Erosion Magus, specializing in high-damage spike explosions. Players can also gear up with the new Evil Heart Armor, adding another layer of customization and power to their arsenal.
