By pre-ordering Assassin's Creed Shadows, players will gain access to the Claws of Awaji add-on, which will be released later. This DLC promises an expansive new open world with over 10 hours of additional content, including new skills, weapons, and equipment for the character Naohe.
Ubisoft is making it easier to dive into the Assassin's Creed series with the introduction of Animus Hub, a new control center for the franchise. Assassin's Creed Shadows will launch simultaneously with this platform. Animus Hub serves as a comprehensive hub for all games in the series, similar to strategies used by franchises like Call of Duty and Battlefield. Through Animus Hub, players can access Assassin's Creed Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla, Mirage, and the upcoming Hexe. Additionally, Assassin's Creed Shadows will introduce unique missions called Anomalies, which can be discovered within the Hub.
