Year 1 Post-Launch Roadmap

Assassin’s Creed Shadows (AC Shadows) has been captivating players for over a month now, and Ubisoft is committed to enhancing the gaming experience with a series of updates. On May 1, Ubisoft shared their year 1 post-launch roadmap on Twitter (X), detailing the exciting new story and gameplay content on the horizon.

One of the highlights is the introduction of new Story Drops, which are free content additions to the game. Ubisoft explains, "These new free quests will introduce new player abilities, new allies, new world activities, and provide deeper looks and backstories for some of your favorite characters, each new piece of content expanding on the main game." This means players can look forward to a richer narrative experience without any additional cost.

In addition to the free content, Ubisoft is gearing up for the release of their first expansion, The Claws of Awaji, slated for later this year. This DLC will take players to the island of Awaji, a brand-new region to explore post-epilogue of the base game. Players can expect to encounter new enemies, unlock new abilities for both protagonists, and wield an exclusive new weapon for Naoe.
