Uncover the Lost Galaxy in Astro Bot Rescue Mission: A Guide to Finding All 10 Hidden Portals

Astro Bot Rescue Mission offers a vast array of explorable worlds. Beyond the standard levels, however, lies a secret area: the Lost Galaxy. Access to this hidden region is granted only by discovering ten cleverly concealed portals scattered throughout the game's main levels. This guide pinpoints the location of each portal and provides instructions on how to reach them.

Look for the swirling icon: Before embarking on your search, know that levels containing a hidden portal are marked with a distinctive swirling icon on the level select screen.

Portal Locations and Access Methods:

1. Az-Tech Trail:

Mid-level, locate a dark chamber with four lit torches surrounding a wall. Utilize the Twin-Frog Gloves to extinguish all four flames. This action will reveal the portal.

2. Creamy Canyon:

Early in the level, you'll encounter a snowy arena with a ladybug enemy. Proceed past it to a charging pig. Grab the pig, swing it towards the icy statue, and release it to shatter the statue. Backtrack, jump over the ladybug, and perform a charged spin attack to access the hidden room containing the portal.

3. Go-Go Archipelago:

After defeating Captain Pincher, locate his embedded claw. A glowing light nearby indicates a spot for a charged spin attack. Drill into the ground to uncover a secret chamber with the portal and treasure.

4. Downsize Surprise:

Towards the level's end, find a bubble-blowing frog. Blow into your controller to initiate bubble production. Shrink, ride a bubble, and transfer to another before it pops to reach a branch above a bot. From there, navigate to the opposite branch to find the portal.

5. Free Big Brother!:

This portal is easily accessible. At the level's start, turn around to find platforms with an electric enemy. Lure the enemy to electrocute the platforms, revealing the wall concealing the portal.

6. Bathhouse Battle:

Locate the house with a flaming chimney. After absorbing water, climb to the roof and extinguish the flames. Descend the chimney to find the portal.

7. Hieiroglitch Pyramid:

At the level's conclusion, turn right to an area with falling jewels. A bounce pad leads to a hidden area. Activate a trap, find two hidden switches in the walls pushing you back, and the path to the portal will open.

8. Balloon Breeze:

Obtain the pufferfish power-up. Backtrack to an area with a distant platform and a ladybug enemy. Use the ladybug to reach the floating area, activate the pufferfish, hover to the platform, and use motion controls to clear bamboo around the portal. Activate it by circling its perimeter.

9. Djinny of the Lamp:

After defeating Djinny, climb the ruins. Invisible platforms are indicated by glowing ground. Hover to each platform, unfurl the rug, and ride it to the final platform holding the portal.

10. Frozen Meal:

Before the boss fight, roll a snowball into a large ball, using it as a platform to reach the cliffside and the final portal.
