Humans (Known In-Universe as Folk)

In *Avowed*, Humans, also referred to as Folk, are the most common race both within the game's universe and in the character creator. As part of the broader Kith group, which includes various sentient, civilized species, Humans are central to the game's narrative and player experience.

The character customization for Humans in *Avowed* is robust, designed to cater to a wide range of players. You'll find numerous presets, along with detailed customization tools. These include a variety of facial presets, a skin tone slider, and diverse hair textures, ensuring players have the tools needed to craft a character that reflects their identity.

Elves

Elves are another selectable race in *Avowed*. Visually, Elves are very similar to Humans, distinguished primarily by their slightly different default facial structures and iconic long, pointed ears.

Godlikes

There's a third race option available in *Avowed* known as Godlikes. Although all Envoys in the story are Godlike, players can decide whether to display these unique features.
