Maintaining a clean appearance in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 significantly impacts NPC interactions and quest outcomes. Neglecting hygiene leads to negative perceptions and hinders persuasion checks. Here's how to stay squeaky clean:
Why Cleanliness Matters
Dirt and blood negatively affect how NPCs perceive Henry, impacting dialogue options and quest success. Even with high Speech skills, grime reduces charisma, making persuasion significantly harder.
Cleaning Methods
Three primary methods exist for cleansing Henry: troughs, bathing spots, and bathhouses.
Commonly found in towns and outposts, troughs offer a basic clean. Interact with a trough to remove some dirt and blood from Henry's face, but this method doesn't clean his clothes.
Located near larger bodies of water (e.g., rivers, ponds), bathing spots provide a more thorough clean than troughs. Submerging yourself partially cleans both Henry and his clothes, but not completely. An example is found west of the Nomads’ and Cumans’ Camps in the Trotsky region.
For the most effective clean, visit a bathhouse (usually in larger towns). A small Groschen fee is required. Bathhouses thoroughly clean both Henry and his clothing, providing the highest level of cleanliness. Regular visits are recommended.
