Rey Dau, the first dragon you'll face in Monster Hunter Wilds, is immune to lightning attacks. However, it's vulnerable to ice and water, making these elemental weapons your best bet. Prioritize attacks to its head (4-star weakness) or wings (3-star weakness). Avoid its sturdy torso and well-protected legs. Most status effects are effective, except for stun and paralysis.

Use a Flash Pod

Employ Flash Pods to temporarily stun Rey Dau, creating openings for significant damage. Time your attacks during its lightning attacks, aiming for its glowing red horns (enter Focus Mode for better visibility).
