Call of Duty: Warzone Hit by Lobby Crashes

Call of Duty: Warzone players are experiencing game freezes and crashes during loading screens, sometimes resulting in unfair penalties. While a permanent fix is still in development, developers have implemented a temporary solution.

Although the underlying bug remains unfixed (as of January 9th, according to the Trello bug tracker), Raven Software has temporarily suspended skill rating penalties and timeouts for players disconnecting before Ranked matches begin. This addresses player concerns over unwarranted penalties caused by the glitch. Penalties will still apply for players leaving mid-match.

This temporary fix offers some relief, but the persistent bugs, even after a major January 2025 update, continue to frustrate players.
