Pokémon Go's February Community Day: A Double Feature!

Get ready, Pokémon Go trainers! February's Community Day is bringing a double dose of excitement with Karrablast and Shelmet taking center stage. The event runs from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time on February 9th, 2025.

Spotlight Pokémon: Karrablast and Shelmet

Prepare for increased wild spawns of Karrablast and Shelmet, boosting your chances of catching these Pokémon. Keep your eyes peeled for their Shiny variants! The real reward, however, lies in their evolutions.

Evolving Karrablast during the event (or until 10:00 p.m. local time on February 16th) yields an Escavalier knowing the powerful Charged Attack, Razor Shell (35 power in Trainer Battles, 55 power in Gyms and Raids). Similarly, evolving Shelmet within the same timeframe grants you an Accelgor with the Charged Attack, Energy Ball (a hefty 90 power in all battle scenarios).

This Community Day is packed with enticing bonuses:

• 2x Candy
• 2x Candy XL chance (Trainers level 31+)
• 3-hour Lure Modules and Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense)
• Photo surprises!

Special Research will reward you with encounters featuring Karrablast and Shelmet with special Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, a Premium Battle Pass, and a Rare Candy XL. A Timed Research event, lasting a week after the main event, unlocks further Karrablast and Shelmet encounters with the special backgrounds. Simply log in during Community Day to unlock these tasks.
