Marvel Contest of Champions isn't just a mobile game—it also offers an arcade version available at Dave & Buster's locations, bringing a fresh twist to the MCoC action. This arcade setup allows two players to engage in 3v3 battles, with victory determined by the best of three rounds. The exciting part? After each match, both players are awarded a Champion Card, a physical collectible that showcases one of the many Marvel heroes or villains from the game.

These cards are more than just collectibles; they can be scanned into the arcade machine to select specific champions before a match begins. With two series released to date, there are over 175 cards available, including both standard and foil variants. Whether you're aiming to enhance your battle strategy or complete your collection, here's all you need to know about MCoC Champion Cards.
Champion Cards are physical trading cards dispensed by Marvel Contest of Champions arcade machines at Dave & Buster's. They represent various characters from the game and can be used to select your champions for arcade matches. If you don't scan any cards, the machine will randomly assign champions for you.
Each card features a specific Marvel character from MCoC and includes a foil variant, similar to collectible cards from games like Mario Kart Arcade GP and Injustice Arcade. The first series introduced 75 different champions, while the second series expanded the collection to 100 cards.
Following a match, the arcade machine dispenses a Champion Card for each player, regardless of the match's outcome. The card you receive isn't influenced by winning or losing, ensuring every player has an equal chance of obtaining a particular champion. Cards are drawn from either Series 1, which includes 75 champions, or Series 2, which expands the selection to 100. Each card also has a rarer foil variant, adding to their collectibility.
While Champion Cards aren't necessary to play the arcade game, they introduce an extra layer of strategy and customization. By scanning their favorite cards, players can choose champions that suit their playstyle, enhancing their battle experience. Although these cards don't transfer to the mobile version of Marvel Contest of Champions, they enrich the arcade experience with their collectible nature. Similar to traditional trading cards, MCoC Champion Cards have a collectible allure. While all cards serve the same function in the arcade game, some enthusiasts aim to collect the complete set, including the elusive foil versions. The second series introduced new designs while retaining many characters from the first, resulting in multiple styles for some cards.
Some players strive to complete the entire set, while others focus on collecting cards of their favorite Marvel characters or just the foil variants. Since these cards can only be obtained by playing at Dave & Buster's, they've become a unique and exclusive collectible for Marvel fans.
If you prefer digital champion collection, consider playing the main MCoC game on PC with BlueStacks, where you can train, upgrade, and battle with your favorite characters without needing to visit an arcade!
Currently, these cards are exclusively available at Dave & Buster's locations with the Marvel Contest of Champions arcade cabinet. They cannot be purchased from the in-game store or earned through the mobile version of MCoC.
Since new series could be released in the future, staying updated on Dave & Buster's arcade news is advisable if you're keen on collecting.
Marvel Contest of Champions Champion Cards add a tangible collectible element to the arcade experience, making it even more engaging for players. Whether you're scanning them for in-game advantages or collecting them as a Marvel fan, these cards offer a unique way to interact with MCoC beyond the mobile app.
