Tencent's newly established studio, Fizzglee, has sparked excitement with the announcement of their upcoming mobile game, Chasing Kaleidorider. This 3D romance RPG features superpowered girls who ride motorcycles, and pre-registration is now open. While an official release date is yet to be announced, fans can get a taste of what's to come with the first official trailer.
Chasing Kaleidorider is set in a futuristic city named Terminus. The narrative unfolds across two dimensions: the regular world and the alternate mental space known as the Sea of Unconsciousness. When these two realms merge, an event called Integration occurs, unleashing chaos through a phenomenon known as Hysteria.
Enter the Kaleidoriders, a group of enigmatic girls who combat this chaos. Armed, swift, and stylish, they ride high-speed motorbikes to battle the madness. The trailer introduces us to several Rider girls, including Prome, Nana, UC, and Adodol, each with unique backgrounds ranging from students and magicians to rockstars. These characters lead dual lives, blending into society while secretly fighting off reality-warping threats.
In the game, you take on the role of the Navigator, who gains a unique ability called Kaleido Vision after an accident. This power allows you to see the unseen, making you crucial in assisting the Riders to combat Hysteria and unravel the mysteries within Terminus.
You can now pre-register for Chasing Kaleidorider on their official website. By signing up, you'll gain access to updates on offline events and the initial testing phase.
The pre-registration trailer offers a glimpse into the game's world, showcasing CG scenes and gameplay footage. It highlights the futuristic setting of Terminus and captures the game's energetic vibe. The trailer also features a theme song by 96Neko, a popular figure in the utaite scene.
