The game prompts you to make a crucial decision by the end of Chapter 3: you must choose one of the three factions to join. By this stage, you should have a good sense of which faction resonates with you, but if you're still undecided, the game offers additional battles to help you make an informed choice.

To advance, you need to complete a specific number of missions for each faction. To ally with Sun Jian, you must complete three battles; Liu Bei requires two, and Cao Cao asks for just one.
