Clash of Clans is set to roll out a groundbreaking update in March 2025, responding to years of player feedback with one of the most significant changes in the game's history. This update will see the removal of several long-standing features, paving the way for a more dynamic and engaging gameplay experience.
Imagine attacking back-to-back without any wait times. That's right, the March 2025 update eliminates training times for Troops, Spells, and Siege Machines, making battles more fast-paced than ever before. Additionally, Hero recovery times are being removed, ensuring your heroes are always ready for action. This change will apply to players in the Titan League and below, while the Legend League will maintain its eight-battle limit per day for now.
This major shift aligns with Clash of Clans' ongoing efforts to streamline gameplay by removing outdated mechanics. Following the removal of training costs in 2022, the elimination of training time further empowers players to enjoy the game without artificial barriers.
Alongside these changes, Training Potions and Training Treats will be phased out as they become obsolete. They will be removed from in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining in player inventories will be converted into Gems.
When real bases are scarce, the new Match Anytime system will let you attack snapshot bases. These are saved versions of real player bases that are currently under Shield. These battles function just like normal ones, allowing you to gain loot and trophies, but the defender won't lose anything. This system, already used in Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, is now expanding to multiplayer battles.
To balance the increased number of battles per session, adjustments are being made to Trophy Curves, reducing the number of trophies earned from victories. Additionally, Clan Castle request timers are being standardized at 10 minutes for all players.
