Finnish game studio Kuuasema unveils Cthulhu Keeper, a darkly humorous strategy game drawing inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft and the 1997 classic, Dungeon Keeper. Currently in development for PC, the game promises a unique blend of cult management and Lovecraftian horror.
Players will construct their own sinister cult, spreading fear and chaos throughout the 1920s setting. Building a lair, researching forbidden arts, and summoning Lovecraftian monsters are key elements of gameplay. Expanding influence involves recruiting cultists, engaging in street-level canvassing, and completing objectives. Naturally, rival cults and the authorities will pose significant threats, necessitating the strategic use of traps and spells to defend the lair.
