Kabam is rolling out exciting updates for Marvel Contest of Champions, launching the Dark Phoenix Saga, introducing new Champions, and unveiling a new character type—Eidols. This month also highlights the powerful women of the game, giving players a chance to influence an upcoming Champion rework.

Jean Grey and Bastion are the latest Champions to join The Contest, each bringing unique abilities and a compelling new storyline. You can recruit Jean Grey starting March 13th, and Bastion will be available from March 27th. Before that, dive into the Dark Phoenix Saga beginning March 3rd, where Jean Grey and the X-Men will face off against dangerous variants in a thrilling new quest.

The lore of Marvel Contest of Champions will expand further with the introduction of more Eidols, continuing the Founders storyline. Following the debut of Isophyne in December 2024, three more Eidols will be introduced throughout 2025, each with a unique sourcing system. The next Eidol, Lumatrix, arrives on March 5th and will be available until June 4th.

Lumatrix, crafted by The Founders, is a master infiltrator designed for spying, sabotage, and assassination with unmatched precision. Made of ISO-8 crystals, Lumatrix possesses exceptional light manipulation abilities. While it dazzles as a performer, it harbors a ruthless weapon beneath, capable of eliminating enemies while remaining undetected.
