On January 18, Deadlock rolled out four new heroes, quickly followed by a series of balance adjustments. Holliday's ability, Crackshot, now also affects units and uses only half its cooldown when doing so. Meanwhile, Calico's ability, Ava, has been upgraded to destroy objects she encounters while moving.

The update didn't overlook the game's veteran heroes either. Kelvin's health has been bumped up from 600 to 650, enhancing his survivability. On the other hand, Vendicta faces a nerf with her bullet speed dropping from 810 to 740 and her movement speed slowing down from nine to eight. In total, 11 heroes, including the fresh additions, have been fine-tuned to maintain a balanced gameplay experience.

Currently, Deadlock is still in its closed beta phase, and the game's online player base is holding strong, fluctuating between 7,000 and 20,000 players. As Valve keeps the updates coming, anticipation for the full release continues to build among the community.
