The Merc with a Mouth returns for the final chapter of his multiversal massacre! Cullen Bunn and Dalibor Talajić reunite for Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe One Last Time, a bloody new adventure that expands the scope of the previous two installments to encompass the entire Marvel multiverse. This isn't just one universe feeling Wade Wilson's wrath; it's every single one.
IGN recently spoke with Bunn about this epic conclusion to the trilogy. Below is an exclusive preview of the first issue, followed by insights into the fourth-wall-breaking carnage to come.

Bunn, a prolific Deadpool writer, revealed he didn't initially plan a trilogy. His initial pitch was Deadpool Kills the Marvel Multiverse, a concept that ultimately became the foundation for this latest installment. The multiverse, Bunn explains, provides a vast landscape for escalating the conflict. This time, Deadpool faces off against everything from Cap-Wolves to Worldbreaker Hulks and countless twisted versions of familiar heroes and villains. Bunn hints at the inclusion of obscure characters unseen in over 30 years, promising epic battles.
Talajić's visual style will continue to evolve, adding a new dimension to the carnage. While he won't be changing the style for each kill, his interpretations of different worlds and character variants promise visual insanity.
Unlike the previous two books, which offered separate scenarios for Deadpool's murderous rampage, this installment offers a fresh start. While the story stands alone, observant readers might find connections to earlier events. More importantly, this Deadpool is arguably more sympathetic than his predecessors. This time, the narrative explores the question: "What if Deadpool killed the Marvel Universe… and we were rooting for him to succeed?"
Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe One Last Time #1 arrives April 2, 2025.
