Beginning January 17, 2025, Godzilla takes over Fortnite Chapter 6. To gain a significant advantage, you'll need to become Godzilla. However, it requires a bit of luck. A rift will randomly appear on the Battle Royale island in each match. Be the first player to find and jump into this rift, and you'll transform into Godzilla!

As Godzilla, unleash chaos with three devastating moves: a Roar to pinpoint nearby players, a Mighty Stomp Attack to send foes flying, and a powerful Heat Ray to inflict heavy damage. However, be warned: the entire lobby will unite against you!

How To Defeat Godzilla in Fortnite

If you weren't lucky enough to become Godzilla, get ready for an epic battle! Epic Games has strategically placed weak points on Godzilla. Focus your attacks on these areas to make Godzilla drop Fragments, each providing 40 health and three dash charges. Mobility is key, so utilize those dashes!

The Rail Gun has been unvaulted for this event. If you can find one, it's a potent weapon for dealing significant damage quickly. High-rarity weapons are also effective. Prioritize looting to maximize your firepower. The player who inflicts the most damage on Godzilla earns the Godzilla Medallion (with its own dash ability) and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher—a fantastic consolation prize!
