The beloved and quirky creature-collecting RPG, The New Denpa Men, is making a triumphant return to mobile devices. Originally a hit on the 3DS and later remastered for the Nintendo Switch, this unique game is set to captivate players once again on iOS and Android starting March 10th. With its innovative use of AR through the 3DS camera, a feature expected to be included in this mobile version, The New Denpa Men promises to blend the real world with its enchanting universe.

For those unfamiliar, The Denpa Men series began on the 3DS, allowing players to capture the titular Denpa Men from their surroundings using augmented reality. These creatures could then be used to explore dungeons and battle enemies. The franchise, developed by Genius Sonority, has seen multiple iterations across Nintendo platforms, and this isn't the first time it's ventured onto mobile. The original New Denpa Men was also available on smartphones before its Switch rerelease.

Given Nintendo's recent focus on expanding its mobile gaming portfolio, the move to bring The New Denpa Men back to mobile seems timely. While the original mobile version was Japan-exclusive, the Switch release saw a global launch, sparking hope for a worldwide rollout this time around. As we await more details on the potential global release, fans of the series can look forward to diving back into this surreal world on their smartphones.
