Destiny 2's Warlock Class Faces Persistent Reputation Bug
Following the Grandmaster Nightfall's launch, Destiny 2's Warlock players have encountered another reputation gain glitch. While Destiny 2 has enjoyed a positive period with new content like "Into the Light" and "The Final Shape," recent weeks have seen a surge in game bugs. Bungie actively addresses these issues, yet new problems emerge with each weekly reset.
Recent bugs have ranged from granting free rewards for AFK Crucible participation to providing unlimited Paracausal Shots with the Hawkmoon exotic. Warlocks have been disproportionately affected, previously experiencing a Gambit reputation bug that hindered their XP gains compared to Titans and Hunters. This issue, unfortunately, appears to persist in other game modes.
The June 25th weekly reset brought back Grandmaster Nightfalls, offering increased rewards and a Vanguard reputation boost alongside double XP. However, Warlocks are again experiencing reduced XP gains compared to other classes during ritual activities.
Warlock Reputation Glitch in Destiny 2
The community has highlighted this Vanguard reputation double XP discrepancy, noting Warlocks receive less XP than Titans and Hunters. Many players were initially unaware of the problem, only noticing the slower leveling process. Surprisingly, this bug might have existed for several months without official acknowledgment from Bungie. Awareness increased last week with reports of irregular XP gains in Gambit matches for Warlocks.
Currently, players can only raise awareness, hoping Bungie addresses the issue. Update 8.0.0.5 addressed various problems, including Ritual Pathfinder adjustments and the removal of Elemental surges from Dungeons and Raids. However, the persistent Warlock reputation bug remains unresolved.
