Diablo Immortal's latest update, Patch 3.2: Shattered Sanctuary, concludes the game's inaugural chapter with a climactic showdown against the Lord of Terror, Diablo. After a two-year quest to gather Worldstone shards, players finally confront Diablo, who has transformed Sanctuary into his infernal domain.
Longtime Diablo fans will recognize familiar faces, including the returning Tyrael, and gain access to the legendary sword, El'druin.
A New Zone: World's Crown
The update introduces World's Crown, a chilling new zone featuring gravity-defying upward rain, blood-red lakes, and ominous, jagged structures. This expansive area is the largest zone Blizzard has added to Diablo Immortal to date.
The Diablo Encounter
The centerpiece of Shattered Sanctuary is the multi-phase battle against Diablo. This challenging fight utilizes Diablo's signature moves like Firestorm and Shadow Clones, amplified by the power of the final Worldstone shard. A new attack, Breath of Fear, adds another layer of difficulty, demanding precise timing and strategic positioning. Players will utilize El'druin to counter Diablo's devastating abilities.
Additional Content
The update also includes new Helliquary Bosses, designed for cooperative gameplay, and Challenger Dungeons with randomized modifiers, requiring adaptability and quick thinking. The new bounties offer challenging encounters with superior rewards compared to other areas.
