Ryu Ga Gotoku (RGG) Studio is giving fans a voice in shaping the celebration of the Like a Dragon (LAD) franchise's 20th anniversary, set for December 2025. A unique fan voting project allows players to select their favorite in-game items to be transformed into real-world merchandise.

Merchandise Voting: A Chance to Shape the Celebration

One hundred iconic items are up for grabs, ranging from lingerie and incense to mahjong tiles, karaoke microphones, and even Kiryu's dragon mask. The winning item, as determined by fan votes, is guaranteed to be produced and released within two years.

The voting period runs from February 8th, 2025, to March 21st, 2025, with one vote permitted per day. Following the voting phase, a subsequent survey will gather input on the winning item's design.

Potential for More Yakuza Remakes?

RGG Studio's December 8th, 2024, announcement hinted at a potential wave of remakes, echoing the 10th-anniversary celebrations that yielded Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami. While details remain scarce, the anticipation for further remakes or anniversary surprises is high.
