Dragon Update Hits Blox Fruits with Release, Reworks & More

The highly anticipated Blox Fruits Dragon Update is finally nearing release, almost a year after its initial planned launch. This comprehensive update boasts a wealth of improvements, from graphical overhauls to enhanced gameplay mechanics. Discover all the exciting details below.

A Glimpse into the Dragon Update's Features:

The Dragon Update marks a significant leap forward for Blox Fruits, featuring a complete graphical overhaul. Islands, character models, and animations have all received a visual upgrade.

Several Third Sea islands have undergone extensive revamping, including texture and building changes, new structures, and improved models. These reworked islands include:

  • Port Town
  • Great Tree
  • Hydra Island

Addressing widespread performance concerns on mobile and console platforms, the update includes a dedicated performance boost. Leveraging new Roblox performance tools, Blox Fruits aims to provide a smoother, lag-free experience for all players, regardless of their device.

Gameplay enhancements are equally impressive. The NPC quest indicator has been visually updated, and NPCs now feature idle animations. Chests and their interactions have received visual and animation upgrades.

Combat has also seen significant improvements. Guns are now displayed on the player's character model, and all guns benefit from visual and gameplay enhancements. Mobs now exhibit knockback and stun animations, and successful hits are clearly indicated by a red glow effect. Observation skills also feature updated visuals and sound effects.

A new Ability HUD has been added, providing clear visual indicators for ability cooldowns.

Release Date and Upcoming Trailers:

While an official release date remains unannounced, the release of promotional material indicates an imminent launch.

The first trailer, showcasing the update's new guns, is scheduled to drop sometime before December 1st, 2024. Subsequent trailers will unveil further details about the update's content.
