EA Play to Remove 2 Games in February 2025

Attention all EA Play subscribers! February 2025 brings some significant changes to your gaming lineup. EA Play, EA's subscription service offering free game trials, full games, and other perks, is set to remove two popular titles from its catalog. Available as a standalone subscription or bundled with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, EA Play boasts a dynamic library that includes both classic and recent releases. However, like all subscription services, games do occasionally cycle out of the lineup.

In February 2025, two games are scheduled to leave EA Play. Madden NFL 23 will depart the service on February 15, and F1 22 will follow suit on February 28. While these games are being removed from the EA Play lineup, their online multiplayer features are not shutting down immediately. Still, the clock is ticking, and fans should take advantage of these games while they're still accessible through the subscription.

List of Games Leaving EA Play Soon

  • Madden NFL 23 - February 15
  • F1 22 - February 28

But that's not the only news impacting EA fans in February 2025. UFC 3 will see its online services shut down on February 17. While it's not confirmed whether UFC 3 will remain available on EA Play post-shutdown, the loss of online features will certainly affect the game's appeal. Subscribers might want to prioritize their time with UFC 3 before this change takes effect.

While it's disappointing to see beloved games leave the service, EA Play subscribers can look forward to newer entries in these franchises. Post-February, you'll still have access to Madden NFL 24, F1 23, and UFC 4. Furthermore, UFC 5 is set to join the EA Play lineup on January 14, offering a fresh addition to the service. The availability of these newer titles should help ease the transition as older games are phased out.
