Fantasian Neo Dimension: Mastering the Tachyon Medal

Fantasian Neo Dimension plunges players into a captivating world where Leo and his companions confront Jas's devastating "Zero" plan. The game's compelling narrative and innovative gameplay create a truly immersive experience. The Tachyon Medal, a crucial late-game item, is central to a challenging and extensive side quest. This guide details how to acquire and utilize this powerful artifact.

Locating the Tachyon Medal

The Tachyon Medal's existence is first hinted at in Shangri-La, and its acquisition marks the final item obtained before the final boss encounter. To secure it, progress through the main storyline until you reach Sanctum, nestled within the God Realm, accessible via the Communication Network. Within the Mirror of Order, you'll face God's Predator, a formidable but conquerable boss. This boss frequently summons allies and employs a devastating "Consume" attack, inflicting a 90% health drain. Therefore, ensure Kina is prepared for significant healing duties. Equipping Petrification Null gear will significantly ease the battle.

Leo's Fire Samidare +2 proves highly effective against summoned enemies. Consider including Cherryl in your party; her Concentrate and Charge abilities deliver substantial damage.

After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory via the Balcony. Amidst the scattered debris, locate a chest to the right; it contains the coveted Tachyon Medal.

Utilizing the Tachyon Medal

The Tachyon Medal's true potential unlocks after completing two key objectives. First, reach the Altar in Shangri-La. Second, complete the challenging Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. These elusive stars appear across eight locations, with the first two encounters integrated into the main storyline:

  1. En New District
  2. Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
  3. Royal Capital - Main Street
  4. Frozen Tundra - Center
  5. Hidden Valley – Duet Path
  6. Ancient Hill – River
  7. Nameless Island – Depths
  8. Shangri-La – Fallen City

Defeat these bosses in the prescribed order. After the final defeat in Shangri-La, three chests will become accessible beneath the Altar. One of these chests holds the Holy Belt, granting All Ailment Null.

Opening all three chests triggers a luminous glow on the door, prompting you to use the Tachyon Medal to reverse time. Possessing the Medal initiates NG+ from this point, carrying over your levels, items, and equipment. While enemies gain increased strength and health in NG+, this shouldn't pose a significant challenge, particularly if all side quests were completed beforehand. Using the Tachyon Medal also awards the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing you to embark on a renewed quest to save the Human Realm.
