Freedom Wars Remastered: How To Use The Cell Garden

Quick Links

The Cell Garden is a crucial area within your Panopticon, encountered early in Freedom Wars Remastered's main story. Once discovered, it becomes a valuable resource-farming location, offering a safer alternative to challenging operations. Multiple Cell Gardens exist throughout the game, each accessed in the same manner, regardless of your level. This guide details how to locate and utilize these gardens effectively.

Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances In Freedom Wars Remastered

Your initial encounter with the Cell Garden involves Mattias's request to investigate a ghost story. To begin, navigate to Level 2's main cell block (2-A000). In the left corner, you'll find a small room resembling an elevator. Interact with it to access area 2-E165 (the same area where you met Enzo).

From 2-E165, follow the right-hand wall to another small room containing a device leading to 2-G100. Repeat this process one last time; the far room in 2-G100 houses the device that unlocks the Cell Garden.

This pathway remains consistent across all levels. Unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement significantly reduces travel time. After completing the main quest involving the Cell Garden, you can access it—and other Cell Gardens—freely. However, acquiring a specific Entitlement is highly recommended.

Each device leading to the next room or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon.

How Does The Cell Garden Work In Freedom Wars Remastered

The Cell Garden's function differs during the main story mission compared to subsequent visits. Here's how it operates outside of the main quest:

  • A one-minute time limit is imposed before expulsion.
  • The room's layout changes each visit.
  • Eight resource orbs (small green orbs) are scattered throughout the room.

Purchasing Entitlements from the Window on Liberty extends your time within the Cell Garden, proving especially useful for more complex layouts. The first upgrade, granting a two-minute time limit, becomes available upon reaching CODE level 3.
