Freedom Wars Remastered offers diverse ways to customize your loadout. While weapons and Thrones are less frequently swapped, Combat Items—consumable resources with various uses—require careful management. You'll occasionally receive Combat Items as operation rewards, but acquiring sufficient quantities can be challenging, especially early on when you're limited to equipping only one at a time. Let's address both these issues.
To equip multiple Combat Items, you need the correct Entitlements. In your cell, access the Window On Liberty and select "Claim Entitlements." Navigate to the Equipment section, then tab right to find the One-Item Permit. Subsequent permits, each allowing you to equip an additional Combat Item (up to four total), are located below.
These permits become available as you progress the story, typically unlocking all four by CODE level 3. Note that later permits only appear after purchasing the preceding one. Equipping a Combat Item will automatically equip your entire stack of that item, ensuring you start operations with your maximum supply. Your Accessory can also equip one Combat Item.
After progressing through the initial missions, you'll gain access to The Warren hub. Here, you'll find Zakka's store, located on the upper level to the right. Besides weapons, Zakka offers "Buy Items," providing access to Munitions and Medical Supplies.
Combat Items are purchased individually, and bulk purchases can be expensive in Entitlement Points. Donating excess resources is advisable only if you require a large quantity of Medkits or similar items. While Operations sometimes reward Combat Items, this isn't a reliable farming method due to the time investment and the possibility of consuming more than you gain.
