Recent leaks from Genshin Impact's beta servers suggest the locations of Nasha Town and Nod-Krai, slated for release in Version 6.0. With Natlan's storyline nearing completion, development is shifting towards Snezhnaya, the Cryo Nation ruled by the Tsaritsa. Snezhnaya's immense size, exceeding even Sumeru and Liyue, necessitates a regional division, with expansion planned across multiple updates.
Initial leaks suggested Nod-Krai as a separate region in Version 6.0. However, recent datamining confirms its location as an autonomous province within Snezhnaya, acting as a crucial trade hub connecting the Cryo Nation to the rest of Teyvat. Liben's information places Nod-Krai in Snezhnaya's southernmost area, suggesting access via Fontaine or Natlan.
Leakflow, Extra, and footage from The_Strifemaster reveal a placeholder landmass in the Version 5.4 beta, situated beneath Fontaine's western waterfalls. This landmass intriguingly connects to Mont Esus, a rumored Fontaine expansion. While not confirming Mont Esus's release timeframe, this connection strongly points towards Nasha Town and Nod-Krai.
Nod-Krai: A Lawless Province
Nod-Krai is both a region and a city on Snezhnaya's southern border. Despite some order maintained by the Voynich Guild, it's known for its lawless nature. A significant Fatui stronghold, led by the popular Harbinger Dottore, operates within Nod-Krai. Nasha Town is a key settlement in the province, and its inhabitants reportedly wield power predating Teyvat's seven Elements.
Strategic Regional Division
Dividing Snezhnaya into multiple parts might be controversial, but its sheer size necessitates this approach for both narrative and development reasons. Following Natlan's Archon Quest conclusion in Version 5.3, subsequent updates will gradually introduce Snezhnaya. While Capitano's fate remains unclear, Natlan will introduce Skirk, a playable character linked to Khaenri'ah's Five Sinners. Barring unforeseen delays, Version 6.0 is anticipated to launch on September 10, 2025.
