Version 5.4 of Genshin Impact introduces Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-Star Anemo Catalyst character hailing from Inazuma. This update follows the Natlan storyline conclusion in Version 5.3 and offers a smaller-scale Inazuma-focused adventure. The flagship event will center around yokai, prominently featuring Yae Miko.
Mizuki's arrival as a playable character, heavily rumored since late 2024, is now confirmed. Beta testing revealed her role as a premium version of Sucrose, incorporating healing capabilities. Her versatile skillset makes her a valuable addition to many team compositions, particularly Taser teams.
While initially leaked as a tapir yokai, subsequent marketing revealed Mizuki's profession as a psychologist and her ownership of the Aisa Bathhouse. Her friendship with Yae Miko strongly suggests her introduction during the Version 5.4 flagship event, further complemented by her own dedicated Story Quest.
Yumemizuki Mizuki Details:
Version 5.4's Event Banners will feature Mizuki and Wriothesley in the first half, followed by Furina and Sigewinne in the second. Note that Mizuki will join the Standard Banner post-Version 5.4, prompting collectors to prioritize obtaining her signature weapon.
Compared to the content-rich Version 5.3, Version 5.4 is notably smaller, including only one new character, one Story Quest, and no new map or Artifact Domain. Consequently, the Primogem acquisition will be below average. Players are advised to save their Lantern Rite rewards for Version 5.4, especially if they aim to acquire highly sought-after Fontaine characters like Furina or Wriothesley.
