First Glimpse of the Early Version of The Sinking City 2

The newly released teaser for *The Sinking City 2* offers a glimpse into the core gameplay elements that fans can expect: intense combat, thorough location exploration, and intriguing investigations. These features are set to be central to the experience. Keep in mind, the footage shown was captured during the pre-alpha phase, meaning the final product may see alterations. Rest assured, the graphics and animations are slated for significant enhancements.

As a direct sequel to the original, *The Sinking City 2* is a survival horror game that continues the narrative in the now-decayed city of Arkham. The city has succumbed to a supernatural flood, turning it into a breeding ground for monstrous entities.

To bolster the development process and ensure the project's success, Frogwares has initiated a Kickstarter campaign aiming to raise €100,000 (about $105,000). These funds will not only support the game's development but also allow for rewarding loyal fans and engaging players in playtesting sessions to fine-tune the game before its official launch. The development is being powered by Unreal Engine 5, promising cutting-edge visuals and gameplay mechanics.

Mark your calendars: *The Sinking City 2* is scheduled to hit the shelves in 2025, available on next-gen consoles including Xbox Series and PS5, as well as on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
