Hope Rekindled in Honkai Star Rail 3.1 Update: 'Light Slips the Gate, Shadow Greets the Throne'

Get ready for an epic new chapter in Honkai: Star Rail with the launch of Version 3.1, titled 'Light Slips the Gate, Shadow Greets the Throne,' set to release on February 26th. The Flame-Chase Journey is ramping up, propelling Trailblazers into unexplored realms and intriguing new mysteries.

Honkai Star Rail Version 3.1 Introduces New Characters

Version 3.1 brings in two exciting new 5-star characters, Tribbie and Mydei, adding fresh dynamics to your team. Following the storyline where Nikador's Coreflame was secured, players will venture into a new map, the Grove of Epiphany. As part of the main Trailblaze Mission, you'll be on a mission to rescue survivors and unravel the mystery behind a recent catastrophe. Your journey will then lead you to reclaim Cerces' Coreflame, bringing hope back to Okhema.

Delve deep into the Abyss of Fate, previously known as Janusopolis, now unveiled in its Day State. Here, you'll uncover the long-forgotten history of the Era Chrysea and delve into Tribbie's past. Tribbie, also known as Tribios, is a demigod and a 5-star Quantum character on the Path of Harmony. As the Holy Maiden of Janusopolis, she received a prophecy from Kephale about Deliverance and has been spreading its message.

Mydei, the crown prince of Castrum Kremnos, is a fierce warrior and a 5-star Imaginary character following the Path of Destruction. He sacrifices his own HP to power up, then transforms into an enhanced form, automatically slamming enemies during his turns.

Returning Characters

Version 3.1 also brings back some fan-favorite characters. The limited 5-star characters Yunli and Huohuo will have another chance to join your roster. Yunli will be available in the first half of the warp event, while Huohuo will appear in the second half.

New Events

The new season of Divergent Universe introduces a research focus on Amphoreus and a Day and Night System for battles. Depending on the time of day, combat dynamics will shift, with different buffs and effects coming into play.
