Master the Dual Outfit Technique in Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered!
This guide details how to combine the benefits of two outfits in Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, leveraging the game's transmog feature. This method isn't available in the original game.
Remastered Version Required:
The dual outfit technique relies on the transmog feature introduced in a Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered patch. This allows you to wear the appearance of one outfit while retaining the stats and effects of another.
Outfit Requirements:
This method works with any outfit you choose, combined with one of these three:
These outfits are located in the Frozen Wilds DLC, accessible without completing the main game.
Acquiring the Banuk Werak Outfits:
Banuk Werak Runner: Reach the Frozen Wilds, defeat the initial machine (adjust difficulty if needed), and purchase the outfit from a Bluegleam Merchant (blue merchant icon).
Resource | Normal Cost | Ultra Hard Cost |
---|---|---|
Metal Shards | 1000 | 5000 |
Desert Glass | 10 | 20 |
Slagshine Glass | 10 | 20 |
Banuk Werak Chieftain & Chieftain Adept: Complete the "For the Werak" quest (Frozen Wilds' third main quest). Consider lowering difficulty for easier completion. The Adept version is only obtainable in New Game Plus.
Combining Outfit Effects:
This keeps your chosen outfit's stats while adding the auto-healing effect of the Banuk Werak outfit. The Chieftain and Chieftain Adept offer significantly faster healing than the Runner. Combining this with an outfit like the Shield Weaver makes you incredibly resilient.
