The terrain of Nalcott is diverse and challenging, featuring frozen tundras, erupting volcanoes, treacherous swamps, and deceptive desert oases. Your survival strategy can vary from farming and hunting to engaging in full-scale warfare. The adversaries you'll face include zombies—corrupted humans—and bizarre dimensional bosses altered by Stardust. Be cautious, as Stardust can also contaminate your food and water, potentially reducing your max HP and affecting your sanity.

The game's crafting system is robust, allowing you to gather around 100 gun blueprints spread across seven categories. You can also enhance your arsenal with various accessories, perks, and upgrades.
