After being accused of using a "booster" service to level up a character in Path of Exile 2 to level 97, Elon Musk shared private messages with a streamer, sparking a heated debate within the gaming community.

The controversy erupted following a 32-minute video released by popular streamer Asmongold, who delved into allegations of "cheating" by Musk. The video suggests that Musk might have either purchased a high-level character or employed someone to level it up in-game. Asmongold highlighted the immense time commitment required to reach level 97, raising doubts about how Musk could manage this alongside his responsibilities at SpaceX, Tesla, and X.

Further fueling the controversy, players noted that during Musk's streams, he appeared unfamiliar with the game mechanics, which seemed inconsistent with someone who had supposedly leveled a character from zero to 97.

In response to Asmongold's video, Musk took to social media, humorously suggesting that he, too, "needs to coordinate with the boss." He also implied that Asmongold consults with a team of editors before posting content on the X network.

Asmongold quickly clarified that he does not have a boss and that any editors he works with are employed by him. This arrangement, he explained, is standard among YouTube and Twitch streamers, enabling them to concentrate on content creation while delegating editing tasks.

Asmongold further remarked that Musk's comments only underscored his lack of understanding about the behind-the-scenes processes of content creation. This exchange has not only intensified the debate over Musk's gaming practices but also shed light on the complexities of content production in the streaming world.
