InZOI distinguishes itself from competitors like The Sims by including seasons and dynamic weather systems right in the base game—features that often come as paid additions elsewhere.
The life simulation title has already captured players' attention with its dedication to high-fidelity visuals, intricate character design, and an expansive open world. Though varied weather was confirmed earlier, Creative Director Hengjun Kim has now revealed that all four seasons will be available when the game launches.
Characters, known as Zois, will need to adapt to weather shifts just as people do in reality. Wearing appropriate clothing is essential—failure to do so could lead to anything from minor illnesses to serious health issues, and in extreme cases, death. This system applies universally, whether battling intense heat that requires cooling measures or braving freezing temperatures that demand warm attire.
InZOI is set to enter early access on March 28, 2025. According to its Steam page, the game will include voiceovers and subtitles at launch. The development team has previously shared their goal to support the game for up to 20 years. Krafton believes it will take at least a decade to fully realize their creative ambitions.
