Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has recently found itself at the center of controversy, drawing the attention of activists, including figures like Grummz, who have labeled the scrutiny as "agenda-driven." The situation escalated after reports surfaced about the game being banned in Saudi Arabia, sparking widespread speculation about the inclusion of specific content and so-called "progressive" ideas within the game.
As a result, Warhorse Studios, the developers behind Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, have faced significant backlash on social media. Efforts have been made to cancel the project and dissuade potential supporters from backing what some are calling "such" developers.
In response to these rumors, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, the PR manager at Warhorse Studios, has urged the public to trust the developers and not to believe everything they read online. Stolz-Zwilling emphasized the importance of getting information directly from the source.
Furthermore, Stolz-Zwilling provided an update on the game's progress, announcing that review codes for Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 would be distributed "in the coming days" following the game's achievement of gold status in early December. These codes are scheduled to be sent out approximately four weeks before the game's release, enabling streamers and reviewers to prepare their initial impressions and reviews.
Interestingly, Stolz-Zwilling also mentioned that the first "final previews," based on sections of the game available in the review version, are expected to be available a week after the review codes are distributed.
