Your journey to confront the Kabukimono begins in the Settsu region. Here, you'll meet the compassionate priest, Shin'nyo, who will entrust you with the mission to hunt down these unruly ronin and restore peace to the area.

The Kabukimono are a group of flamboyant ronin who operate without regard for the law, inflicting harm and chaos wherever they go. It's up to the assassins to bring them to justice and give the people some much-needed respite.

In total, there are eight distinct targets within the Kabukimono faction.

How and Where to Find All Kabukimono Members in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Assassin's Creed Shadows doesn't spoon-feed you the exact locations of your targets. Instead, you're encouraged to explore the world, using the clues provided to pinpoint their whereabouts.

Ghost General

The Ghost General leads the Hungry Ghosts, a gang of ravenous ronin known for their insatiable appetite for destruction. Follow the clues to the city of Sakai in the southwestern part of the Izumi Settsu region. Head to the western part of the city, where you'll find the Money Changer District. The Ghost General awaits here, surrounded by his followers. It's wise to thin out the numbers before engaging or use Yasuke's strength to level the playing field.

Grave Dancer

The Grave Dancer leads the Defilers, a gang that respects nothing, not even the sanctity of the dead. From Sakai, travel northeast along the main road until you reach the Sumiyoshi Shrine, south of Osaka. Here, amidst the graves, you'll find the Grave Dancer. Dispatch him to his final resting place with your weapon of choice.

Ember

The Ember leads the Firebrands, a group of samurai intent on purifying the world through fire and destruction. Travel north from Sakai into Osaka, heading to the Fishermen's District. Just north of this area, you'll find some burned-down buildings where the Ember lurks. Clear out any other threats before confronting this pyromaniac and extinguish his dangerous flame.

Big Sueki

Big Sueki, a lover of sake, leads a gang that has traded honor for indulgence. Their reckless pursuit of pleasure harms those in their path. To end their revelry, head to Muko Post Town, just north of Amagasaki Castle in the western part of Izumi Settsu. Near the moat, you'll find Big Sueki. Use the surrounding bamboo and thickets to approach stealthily and deliver your own brand of justice.

Chief Cuckoo

Once honorable samurai, the Chief Cuckoo and his followers have fallen into disgrace, now harassing the peasants and driving them from their homes. Head to the city of Katano, centrally located in the Izumi Settsu region. At the southern edge of the town, you'll find the Katano Oil Trading location, where the Chief Cuckoo is stationed. Use the environment to your advantage and bring this villain to a fiery end.

Corrupt Blade, Laughing Man, and Peacock

After dealing with the other Kabukimono members, you'll face the final three: Corrupt Blade, Laughing Man, and Peacock. Head to the Nishinomiya Shrine, west of Amagasaki Castle. At the entrance, you'll have the option to confront them individually or gather them in one location for a decisive battle. Opting for the latter saves time; proceed to the Harima region.

From the shrine, travel west to Kakogawa Estuary, then ride northeast along the roads to reach Takagi Otsuka Fort. Continue east to find the trio in a courtyard next to a medium-sized hut. This battle will be challenging, but you won't be alone. Utilize the NPCs to distract the enemies and strike when the opportunity arises. Eliminate all three to completely eradicate the Kabukimono threat.
