The inaugural season of Marvel Rivals, Season 0: Doom's Rise, has been met with significant acclaim. Players have mastered over thirty characters, established their favorites, climbed the competitive ranks, and customized their profiles with various cosmetic items. These cosmetics are obtainable through the Battle Pass, in-game purchases, Twitch drops, and more.

Another avenue for acquiring cosmetics, emotes, profile banners, and sprays is through limited-time in-game events. The first such event, the Season 0 Winter Celebration, introduces a new game mode, challenges, and exclusive skins. This guide details the Marvel Rivals Winter event and its rewards.

Marvel Rivals Winter Celebration Event Explained

The Marvel Rivals Winter event ran from December 20, 2024 to January 9, 2025. Players could earn winter-themed rewards for Jeff the Land Shark, including a spray, profile banner, emote, and a new skin. These items were unlocked by collecting Gold and Silver Frost through completing Winter Challenges within the limited-time game mode, Jeff's Winter Splash Festival.

Jeff's Winter Splash Festival is a 4v4 arcade mode featuring only Jeff the Land Shark. Similar to Splatoon, players use their primary fire to control territory, with the team covering the most area declared the winner.

All Winter Event Skins for Marvel Rivals

Beyond Jeff's Winter Splash Festival, several holiday-themed cosmetics were available. Fuzzy Cuddlefin for Jeff the Land Shark was a free reward at 500 Frost. Holiday Happiness Groot and Wild Winter Rocket Raccoon were available as individual or bundled purchases in the shop.

Further holiday skins, Snow Symbiote Venom and Frozen Demon Magik, were released later in the event, also available for purchase in the shop.
