Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Master Schindel’s Toys Quest Guide

To initiate the Master Schindel’s Toys quest, you need to be on the Into the Underworld main mission. Your objective is to find an informant named Goatskin. During your investigation, visit the bathhouse and speak with the Bathhouse Madam first, followed by Adam. Adam will inform you that Goatskin is the one who stole Master Schindel's items.

After gathering this information, your next task is to locate Goatskin. Known for his timidity, you'll need to coax him out. You have the option to talk to Lousy Mary or follow Udo. I suggest speaking with Udo, who can be found on the first floor of the bathhouse in the evening. Instruct him to go home and discreetly follow him. Goatskin will attempt to rob Udo in an alley, providing you the opportunity to confront him.

In addition to learning more about Liechtenstein, you can try to acquire a map from Goatskin. If you fail the skill check, you'll need to bribe him. He will then direct you to the Map of Kuttenberg Underground, which can be found on a body at the Kuttenberg gallows on the southeastern side of the city.

Retrieve the map from the hanging corpse. With the map in hand, navigate the underground area, which is notoriously challenging and easy to get lost in.

Navigate by consistently turning left until you reach a barrel at a dead end. At one point, you'll need to jump down to a lower level. Continue making left turns at junctions until you discover Goatskin’s hidden stash. Inspect the barrel to find a book and an astrolabe.

Return to the surface using the same route. Master Schindel can usually be found on the northeastern side of the city during the day. Approach him to complete the side quest. Initially, he might seem irritable, but returning his stolen items will soften his demeanor. Engage further with him to learn about the astrolabe and planetary mechanics.
