As Captain America: Brave New World enters the Marvel Cinematic Universe, now boasting an impressive 35 movies, it's the perfect moment to reflect on the series that has captivated audiences worldwide. From the groundbreaking origins in Iron Man to the epic conclusion of the Infinity Saga, which MCU film resonates with you the most? Do you have a soft spot for the early tales or the thrilling team-ups that brought the saga to a close? Share your favorite using our interactive tier list tool below.
Remember, this list focuses solely on films from Kevin Feige's MCU empire, so Sony's Marvel entries, like the X-Men series (except for Wolverine), won't be included this time. Check out my personal tier list, which reflects my enjoyment of these films over the years:
Unfortunately, Captain America: Brave New World didn't meet my expectations, landing in the D tier due to what might be the MCU's clunkiest script to date. Similarly, my placement of 2024's Deadpool & Wolverine in the bottom category might surprise some, but it simply didn't resonate with me. You can delve into my detailed thoughts on this here. However, I believe Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania represents the lowest point for the MCU, firmly placed in the D tier.
On the other end of the spectrum, my top tier is reserved for five films that I consider truly exceptional. Captain America: Civil War and Winter Soldier both earn S-tier status for their deep emotional resonance and gripping espionage themes, respectively. Thor: Ragnarok stands out as one of the most hilarious films of the last decade, while Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame masterfully concluded the most crucial chapter of the series.
If you disagree with my rankings—perhaps you believe No Way Home is the pinnacle of the Tom Holland Spider-Man trilogy, or that Black Panther deserves S-tier status—why not create your own tier list? Below, you can rank all the MCU movies and compare your S, A, B, C, and D tiers with the broader IGN community.
