Get ready, basketball fans! The highly anticipated successor to Blue Lock Rivals, Basketball Rivals, based on the popular Kuroko's Basketball anime and manga, is finally arriving. Chrollo's latest creation is almost here, complete with a brand-new trailer, official release date, and exciting periodic public playtests. Here's everything you need to know about the Basketball Rivals release date.
Basketball Rivals officially launches on March 14, 2025, at 5 PM EST. The long-awaited trailer (see below) is finally here! For the most up-to-date information and any potential last-minute schedule changes, be sure to visit the official event page.
Check out the hype-filled release trailer below! It showcases some of the game's incredible styles, including Aomine Daiki's electrifying dribbling and scoring, and Shintaro Midorima's legendary full-court shots. While testers are already familiar with these styles, this trailer gives newcomers a fantastic preview of the awesome abilities waiting to be unlocked.
Keep an eye on the official Basketball Rivals game page and Discord server for announcements regarding the prerelease public playtests. Chrollo has confirmed that the game will be open to the public for 30-minute periods each time the release event page reaches 20,000 interested players (20k, 40k, 60k, and so on). Don't miss your chance to jump in before launch! However, it’s recommended to avoid purchasing anything with Robux during the playtest, as purchases won't carry over to the official launch.
Currently, in the prerelease phase, there isn't an official Basketball Rivals Trello board. However, Chrollo has confirmed that a Trello board will be launched alongside the game. This Trello board will detail all the customization options and the gacha system, similar to Blue Lock Rivals, with each main character from Kuroko's Basketball having their own unique style.
