PlayStation State of Play Announced for Tomorrow, February 12

Sony's PlayStation State of Play is set for tomorrow, February 12th, at 2 PM Pacific / 5 PM Eastern / 10 PM UK. The showcase, exceeding 40 minutes in length, will be streamed in English and Japanese on PlayStation's official YouTube and Twitch channels.

While specifics remain under wraps, the PlayStation Blog teases a diverse lineup of games from global studios. Many anticipate updates on highly anticipated titles. A deeper dive into Sucker Punch's Ghost of Tsushima and a release date for Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding 2: On the Beach are among the top fan hopes.

Given a recent leak on the PlayStation Store, an official Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater release date trailer is also a strong possibility.

While announcements regarding Insomniac's Wolverine or Naughty Dog's Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet might be premature, other possibilities include release date confirmations for Phantom Blade Zero (S-Game's action RPG), Marathon (Bungie's multiplayer shooter), and Fairgame (Haven's multiplayer shooter). The latter two are particularly intriguing given Sony's recent Concord acquisition.

With March marking the 10th anniversary of Bloodborne, a special announcement isn't entirely out of the question. Furthermore, persistent rumors suggest the possibility of a Halo title arriving on PlayStation consoles.
